About TRENDO 2016

Dear All, Vanakkam !

 On behalf of the organizing committee of TRENDO 2016, we take immense pleasure in inviting you to attend TRENDO 2016, 4th Annual meeting of the Endocrine Society of Tamilnadu and Puducherry . This much-awaited conference after the grand success of TRENDO 2015 will be held in Coimbatore on 9th and 10th of July 2016.

Coimbatore is the third largest city in Tamilnadu, With a population of more than 15 lakhs. There are more than 30,000 tiny small, medium and large industries and textile mills. The city is known for its entrepreneurship of its residents. The climate is comfortable round the year. There are more than 25,000 small, medium, large scale industries and textile mills. Coimbatore is also famous for the manufacture of motor pump sets and varied engineering goods, due to which it has earned the title " Detroit of the South". The Development of Hydro electricity from the Pykara Falls in the 1930s led to a cotton boom in Coimbatore. The result has been a strong economy and a reputation as one of the greatest industrial cities in South India..

TRENDO 2016 is proposed to address latest updates, emerging concepts, clinical applications and controversies in diabetes, thyroid disorders, gonadal problems, pituitary disorders, metabolic bone disease and adrenal diseases. We have a mix of plenaries, lectures, workshops, symposia, clinical case seminars, original paper presentations and debates. We will be having a distinguished gathering of eminent international and national faculties representing different institutions across the country for this mega event. The meeting is intended for Endocrinologists, Diabetologists, Physicians, Obstetricians, Pediatricians, General practitioners and Postgraduates. We except around 800-1000 registrations for the event. We welcome you all to join hands with us and be an important part of TRENDO 2016. We hope that this will be an academic feast of great minds and hearts.
